Pictures from the MGFA 2005 Annual Meeting sessions will be placed on the MGnet Yahoo Group site. To view pictures from the Annual Meeting you must join the MGnet Yahoo! Group (joining the Yahoo! group is free and easy). The Yahoo Group also provides a mailing list/bulletin board for members to communicate with each other. When you join you may choose to have these emails forwarded to your mailbox or choose to view them on the site. The Yahoo Chat room, not to be confused with the chat room on the MGnet website, provides a place for members to meet and chat with each other. Audio is available through Yahoo allowing our members to speak to one another. If possible, sign up for Yahoo prior to an event as it will take a few minutes to join. If you have a Yahoo! Mail account or a Yahoo! Messenger account, then you already have a Yahoo! ID (username). If you have a Yahoo! Mail account, then your Yahoo ID is the username that you use to login to Yahoo Mail, and your password is the same as the one you use for your Yahoo Mail account.. If you do not have a Yahoo! ID, then you need to get one. To get your Yahoo ID, you may sign up for a free Yahoo! Mail account, a free Yahoo! Messenger account, or go to our Yahoo Group home page and click on "Join this Group." We recommend you set up a Yahoo mail account. If you send a message to the mailing list, your email address will appear. By setting up a Yahoo Mail account you can be assured that your personal email address will never be posted. Your Yahoo! ID is the name that will appear when you are in the chat room. The password of your Yahoo! ID is private (make sure you choose something that you can remember.) When you have your Yahoo! ID, follow these steps: Steps to join the MGnet Yahoo! Group: 1 - Go to the Yahoo! Login page and enter your Yahoo ID and Password and click on the Sign In button 2 - On the next page, which should be the MGnet Yahoo! Group homepage, click on the Join This Group blue button (if you have not joined the group yet).Below you can see that screen, with the Join This Group button marked with a red ellipse:   Steps to enter the Yahoo! Chat: 3 - After your subscription has been confirmed, go to the MGnet Yahoo! Group Chat at: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/MGnet/chat You should see a screen with a Chat Window. For you to hear the audio, it is required that you see in this Chat Window the Sound Panel, which contains the Hands Free button, the Talk button and the Vol slider (marked here with a red ellipse, at the bottom of the following screen):

If you do not have this Voice Panel in the chat window, then you are probably using Sun's Java VM (Virtual Machine) instead of Microsoft VM. For reasons that we do not know, it is necessary to set up Internet Explorer to use Microsoft VM instead of Sun's.

To do this, in Internet Explorer:

1. Go to the Tools -> Internet Options menu
2. Select the Advanced tab
3. Scroll down a bit and clear the checkbox of Java (Sun) and click the checkboxes for Microsoft VM as shown in the following picture:

You will then have to click on the OK button, restart Internet Explorer and take the steps described above to return to the MGnet Yahoo! Group Chat

When you return to the MGnet Yahoo! Group Chat, you should be able to see the Voice Panel in the Chat window.
